My strategy was to claim one corner of the board.
ReplyDeleteIt didn't work because i didn't get the cards to claim that corner of the board, so the strategy was a failure and needs revision.
My strategy for winning the Sequence Game was to start with the card closest to the middle so I have lots of ways to try to build a sequence. I also tried to find if any of the cards I had were close to the other cards in my hand. If I did have a set of cards that were all close to each other then I would lay those cards down first. I think this worked pretty while but the people who I played against liked to play lots of "defense" so it was hard to make sequences.
ReplyDeleteMy strategy to win the game which i did A LOT. Was get as many of my color in one area and build off of those colors. While at some points you had to play defense bt not to often the best defense is a good offense in this game.
ReplyDeleteI believe that it is not a good idea for focusing on defense of one player. I need to look broader to control the situation on the board. I shouldn't only either defense of offense at a time, I should cared about both of them.
ReplyDeleteMy stratgy for winning the sequence game was to play the cards that were closest together. If another player was about to get a sequence i would try to block them or use a jack that removed a piece. If a drew a jack that removed a piece i would try to save it until i really needed it. That was my stratgy for the sequence game and it worked pretty well.
ReplyDeleteMy strategy for winning sequence was pretty basic, I wanted to place all of my marker things around the same area but not necessarily right next to each other especially in the beginning but in the same region. When the board started to get more full I would start to really look at my cards and figure out which one would go give me the best advantage. As far as defense I didn't really pay attention to anyone else which could have helped me win.
ReplyDeleteI think my strategy worked pretty well even though i was on a team with another person. Both our strategies put together worked really well, especially when he could see something that i couldn't see on the board. My strategy was thinking ahead instead of just laying something down and i also made sure no one else was open to make a sequence because if they were i would try and block them FIRST them make my move after that. I also saved my 1 eyed jacks for when i really needed them.
